I have never liked photos or art behind glass!
The glass causes a significant distraction from the work
and provides very little protection from the various
forms of photo damage and fading.

The Image On The Left Is The Original Photo Under Glass
The Image On The Right Is The Enhanced & Preserved Photo
No Glass Needed!
__________
I Begin By Downloading A Photo To My Computer And Performing Any Necessary Cropping, Enhancements,
Or Restoration

__________

Once I am satisfied with the computer enhanced image I print it.
All images are printed on an Epson printer using Epson Eight-Color UltraChrome pigment inkset.
When combined with a heavy weight photo paper the end result is a fade-resistant image lasting up to
100-200 years.

The next step in The Process is the mounting.
The print is applied to a mounting board then subject
to 24 hours of extreme pressure
to ensure that the print and the mounting board become
permanently bonded together.

The mounted work is now ready for the
final step that will protect the image from damage and fading while eliminating the
need to...
Hide It Behind Glass!
__________
Texturing

A Blend Of 100% Acrylic Polymer Emulsion
Is Hand Applied To The Print
When the work is finished it has excellent flexibility, resistance
to chemicals, water, abrasion and ultraviolet radiation.
After the Acrylic Polymer is applied to the mounted print it creates
a permanent protective seal between the print and the elements
thus preventing common photo damage and fading.
The print is so protected you can safely
use a wet cloth to clean it!

I am Zoey's grandma and I adore the picture Carl has worked
wonders with. Thanks for the wonderful memory that
will be cherished for years to come.
